Houston Metro Area - e-Discovery/Document Review Candidates Needed
Location: Houston Metro Area & Remote
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates ranging from $23.00 (JD) to $28.00 (Licensed)
Start Date: Ongoing needs multiple upcoming projects
About the Role:
ProspectBlue is currently registering law school graduates and licensed attorneys to assist with upcoming document review projects with our law firm and corporate clients. ProspectBlue welcomes unlicensed law school graduates and licensed contract attorneys (any jurisdiction) to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for flexible work on high-volume litigation regulatory or internal investigation matters.
Projects will vary in duration (one week to several months) and scope and may include review for relevance responsiveness privilege confidentiality and key issue coding using industry-standard e-Discovery platforms. Candidates will be expected to work a standard 40-hour work week (Monday-Friday) during normal business hours.
The hourly compensation range will start at $23.00 per hour for unlicensed/JD-only reviews and range between $25.00-$28.00 per hour for licensed review projects. Overtime may be available on a project-by-project basis if approved by client management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct document review for large-scale litigation and regulatory matters
- Analyze and tag documents for relevance privilege and other key issues
- Apply review protocols accurately and consistently
- Meet established deadlines and quality metrics
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team leaders
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
- Prior document review experience preferred but not required to participate
- Familiarity with review platforms such as Relativity Everlaw DISCO or similar tools is preferred but not required. Please list any/all software related experience on your resume.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Must have reliable internet access and a secure remote work setup to include an up-to-date computer with a working webcam and microphone.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background checkandbar status verification.
- No concurrent work is permitted while working on our review team.
