Responsibilities
As theSpecialTechnical Operations(STO)Leadsupporting a national security program space warfighting mission youwilllead ageographicallydispersedteamresponsiblefor managingcompartmentedoperationsand productswhilefacilitatingthe integration of new capabilities and providingfeedback toAcquisitionoffices.As lead you willbe responsible forthetimelyandaccuratereporting and dissemination of productsthat inform decision-makersandthecustomerenterprise.You will coordinateand deconflictprogram planning activitiesacrossmission-relatedoperations centers.A successfulcandidatewillhavesubject matterexpert(SME)-leveldepth of knowledge concerningcustomerenterprisemissionsandspace/multi-domain operationswith extensive experienceleading planning projectscollaboratingwithseniorrankingauthoritiesandsupportingTactics Techniques and Procedure (TTP) development.

- Prepare briefingsreportsand other relevantproductsfor informational and decision purposes
- Assessprocedures andcapabilitiesand provideAcquisition officesfeedbackregardingcustomerrequirementsexpectationsand/orshortfalls of relevant systems
- Deconflict offensive planning activities withnationalspace-missionoperationscenters
- Supportsystem integrationautomation &machine learningand exerciseefforts as
- Identifyany system or intelligence gaps and assumptions that may pose a risk to mission success and report manage and mitigate those risks
- Work full-time on-site at a government facility inSpringfieldVA

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- 12 yearscombined experience working inspace defense operationsandSpecial Technical Operations (STO)withbachelorsdegreein related field; 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 2 yearsofproject management or experience leadingspaceoperations or planningteams
- 2 years assignedatrelevantIntelligence Community(IC)organizationsconducting space ops
- Active TS/SCI withadjudicatedCI Poly
PREFERRED:
- Experiencefacilitatingconnections betweenJoint Staffseniordirector offices and leadership acrosscustomer enterprise
- Experienceworking withsecuredatabasesmanagingcontrolled classified materials(i.e.ACCM)
- Experience building checklistsproceduresand exercise scenarios
- SMEknowledge of foreign/domestic space & ground threat capabilities and space surveillance networks with prior experience in tasking space surveillance resources
- Understanding ofinternational space policy and rules governing conduct of space-faring nations

Target Salary Range
$146000 - $234000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
