AWS DevOps Engineer

About You

You are a proactive DevOps Engineer who enjoys building automating and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure. You take ownership of environments end to end from access management and CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes workloads and you thrive in fast-paced environments where stability security and scalability are critical. Youre looking for a role where you can grow your cloud expertise influence infrastructure decisions and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services particularly IAM RDS and EKS.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Solid background designing implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and container orchestration concepts.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash (desirable).
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud security permissions and access management.
• Advanced English proficiency as you will collaborate with global and US-based teams.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage AWS accounts organizational permissions IAM roles and cost monitoring.
• Manage and support both employee and organizational infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
• Handle workstation setups configurations and deprovisioning during employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Implement manage and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Oversee AWS IAM roles and permissions for users services and applications.
• Maintain and optimize microservices infrastructure on AWS EKS.
• Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure reliable and efficient deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure reliability scalability and automation.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency security and cost optimization.
