Algebra II Tutor (high school)

Job Title: High School Algebra II Tutor
Pay: $15 per hour

Position Overview:
Ivy Academy is seeking a High School Alg. II Tutor to support students in strengthening their algebra II skills & building academic confidence. The ideal candidate enjoys working & adolescents can explain concepts clearly is experienced in teaching algebra II & aligns with Ivy Academys commitment to academic excellence & student growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in high schoollevel Algebra II
• Reinforce classroom instruction and help students master core concepts
• Support students with homework test preparation and skill development
• Maintain a positive patient and professional learning environment
• Communicate student progress with supervisors as requested
• Adhere to Ivy Academys policies and expectations

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Algebra II
• Ability to explain Alg. II concepts in a clear & supportive way
• Reliable punctual & organized
• Experience working with high school students preferred (tutoring teaching or academic support)
• Must pass required background checks

Schedule:

• HCDE School calendar; work day is 7:30-3:00
