Title: Master of Social Work (MSW) Internship

Student Counseling Services offers a 10-month Master of Social Work (MSW) Internship beginning August 1 2026 and ending on May 31 2027. Our focus is to provide a strong clinical experience for our interns that integrates the development of clinical competence and ethical practice with professional growth and development in a supportive environment. Interns will be exposed to a full range of clinical services therapeutic perspectives and interdisciplinary skills within a University Counseling Center. While clients we serve may request to engage in services via telehealth interns will only provide telehealth services while working on-site as interns will not be able to provide clinical services while off-site.
This internship is designed as a second field placement opportunity for students currently enrolled in a masters level social work program with at least one year of prior clinical experience. Applicants are carefully selected based on their prior clinical experience strong recommendations from their home program and/or previous field placement supervisors and an in-person interview with the dedicated staff at Student Counseling Services. This thorough process ensures a collaborative and enriching training experience tailored to support the growth and success of the intern.
$15.00/hour

The office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional evening hours as business needs dictate. Practicum students are expected to work 1720 hours across 2-3 days per week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory.
