Are you ready to take on the role of Associate Director Renewable Energy in our rapidly expanding energy team You will be responsible for undertaking a technical and delivery role on projects within the team with a focus on the Northern Ireland market; our projects are in all stages of development and at all scales. Our clients are a mix between large energy utility generators to private developers.

Heres what youll do:

As our new Associate Director you will be a senior member of the team and responsible for developing and leading project delivery and developing and maintaining client relationships in Northern Ireland and the wider UKI.

You will review and generate technical and contractual information from both internal and external sources.

Other aspects of the role include:

  • Liaise with clients manage project work on a day-to-day basis and ensure that the work is delivered within the agreed timescale and budgets.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of energy infrastructure.
  • Respond to technical queries raised by Site Teams where appropriate.
  • Act as lead verifier on reports including technical feasibility studies and design reports (depending on core engineering discipline).
  • Direct junior members of staff and mentor graduate engineers.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

  • BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical)
  • Chartered status or actively working towards chartership
  • This role with a strong technical focus requires candidates to have a background in civil electrical mechanical environmental or project management experience in the energy sector and demonstrate a high degree of technical competency.
  • Experience of leading or making significant contributions to projects in one or more of the following is essential:
  1. Onshore wind
  2. Offshore wind
  3. Large scale solar PV
  4. Hydroelectric design both run of river and pumped storage
  5. Thermal generation
  6. Industrial energy processes
  7. Future Fuels
