Role Overview
As a Specialised Technician you will support our chilled water plants refrigeration systems and HVAC solutions across a wide range of marine environments. The role requires versatility adaptability to new technologies and a proactive approach. You will work onshore on largescale chillersup to 10000 kWwithin plant rooms on Navy and commercial marine vessels.

What You Will Do
- Commission and test equipment including HAT/SAT/CST trials
- Carry out routine maintenance fault diagnosis repairs and retrofits
- Support factory acceptance trials at our Basildon facility when required
- Provide technical support guidance and training to project teams and clients
- Maintain accurate work records and report emergent issues
- Ensure safe working practices and deliver excellent customer service
What Were Looking For
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills especially in faultfinding
- Ability to work independently manage workload and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a customerfocused mindset
- Experience in Navy/Marine environments is beneficial but not essential
- Knowledge of PLC/microprocessorbased systems HVAC systems and air balancing
- Flexibility to travel to UK and international ports as required
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
- Eligibility for UK BPSS and SC security clearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in refrigeration or HVAC
- City & Guilds NVQ or BTEC in refrigeration/HVAC
- FGas (C&G 2079)
- Electrical qualifications (desirable but not essential)
