The Visualisation Specialist bridges the gap between design technical development and marketing by creating high-fidelity digital prototypes. This role is responsible for reducing the reliance on physical sampling by simulating accurate drape fit and aesthetic details in a 3D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create technically accurate 3D garment simulations from 2D patterns or sketches.
- Simulate fabric drape textures and prints to provide a realistic representation of the final product.
- Support pre-line reviews and internal presentations with high-quality digital imagery.
- Collaborate with the design and technical teams to adjust proportions and silhouettes digitally before physical production.
- Maintain the digital asset library ensuring all trims fabrics and avatars are standardised.
- Identify opportunities to use 3D assets for digital sales tools or marketing content to shorten development timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 3D garment simulation software (e.g. CLO 3D Browzwear or Optitex).
- Strong understanding of garment construction fabric behaviour and the draping process.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a high comfort level with new digital product creation (DPC) tools.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into 3D visuals with high aesthetic and technical accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to align global teams and support sustainability goals through reduced sampling.
