The Area EHSQ Manager in EMEA is responsible for the integration of Environmental Health and Safety aspects into business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned this function the Area EHS Manager works together with the local EHS Managers of the area and reports functionally to the Area Manager and the Regional EHS Manager. Its a role interfacing between different functions covers networking in terms of shared responsibility between global regional area and local roles. Preferable the role is located in the UK the Netherlands Belgium or Denmark.
- Support Regional EHSQ Head EMEA and Local EHSQ North to roll out maintain & control the EHSQ Group/Regional Strategy & Programs KPIs
- Support and define measures to improve the Area EHSQ performance (analyzing EHSQ relevant KPIs initiatives and BDPs current practices preventive measures and investigating of incidents/incidents)
- Support the exchange of EHSQ information and topics between the Local EHSQ manager in the Area
- Support and train the Local EHSQ by the investigation of accidents and reporting in the Sphera Incident management tool
- General EHSQ support to the Local EHSQ Managers
- Define improvement plans on Area level; tracking local action plans to ensure compliance
- Participation of EHS Audits and Risk audits (internal/external) in the concerned Area (together with Local EHSQ experts and teams)
- Organize regular EHS visits meetings and workshops on Area level with the different facilities key stakeholders including awareness and mindset development
- Interface between Regional EHSQ and local EHSQ
- Chair regular EHSQ meetings with Country/Local EHSQ
- Organize and Chair the Area EHSQ team meetings
- Report regularly to the EMEA Area Manager and the Regional EMEA EHSQ Manager
- Support and monitor the incident & accident reporting (ESG) Sphera incident management system and the Sika Crisis Management
- Support Regional Q EMEA for the Sika matrix certification program
Qualifications :
Your Expertise - Our Strength
- Background in (safety) engineering construction or chemical industry
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role within environmental health & safety coordination
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management systems (ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 45001) preferred in construction business
- Project management skills to lead projects and teams at Area level
- Excellent engaging with stakeholders at functionally and hierarchy level
- Fluent business English oral and written is a must. Any additional language is a plus
- Self-dependent organization of work and tasks
- Talented in organization and motivation
- Readiness to travel approx. 50-60% depending location
