Mō tēnei tūranga mahi About the role
This new role reports directly to the Group Finance Manager and will be key in delivering financial information across the organisation. Its a dynamic role with a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. As a small and growing business youll work across different industries and levels and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
In this role you will work with external accountants and the Group Finance Manager to prepare and review monthly management reports budgets and forecasts. Youll maintain accurate records across all entities complete reconciliations and journals and support month-end and year-end processes.
We are on a journey to build our internal financial capability as we grow. This role offers the opportunity to help shape our future finance shared services model and support the transition of key functions into our internal team.
He kōrero mōu About you Our ideal candidate
- A tertiary qualification in accounting finance or related discipline
- 12 years experience in accounting or finance
- Progress toward or completion of CA or CPA (preferred)
- Experience using Xero Spotlight Dext ApprovalMax or similar systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
