Job Summary

Your Team: You will be part of a dynamic and evolving team at The Sun driving digital growth and performance. Sitting within the Sun Business Unit at News UK Sun Publishing is responsible for sales operations commercial product strategy and partnerships across The Suns platforms. Our team works collaboratively to create compelling digital strategies that drive revenue and user engagement.

Your Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Conversion Lead to join our fast-paced high-impact Customer Marketing team to support News UKs objectives to grow digital subscriptions and revenue for The Sun.

A pivotal role within the marketing team your role will focus on creating a seamless and persuasive online experience that will improve subscription conversion rates for our new Sun Club membership. Blending creativity data analysis and user experience you will identify opportunities for A/B and multivariate testing whilst working closely with internal stakeholders to own the onsite customer journey.

Day to day you will:

  • Develop and own a robust testing program designed to improve onsite and app subscription conversion.

  • Run A/B and multivariate tests to gather deep insights into how various elements interact and impact user behaviour.

  • Interpret results quickly to provide unique insights and clear recommendations for future CRO experiments.

  • Partner with the Product team to lead the development of enhanced onsite journeys based on successful experimental data.

  • Analyse every stage of the subscription conversion funnel to identify and act on opportunities for better engagement.

  • Collaborate with Analytics Performance Marketing and CRM teams to ensure a consistent and high-performing experience across all channels.

  • Manage and activate onsite sales providing strategic recommendations to wider marketing stakeholders.

  • Oversee all landing pages to ensure they effectively support subscription campaign activity across the business.

What were looking for from you:

  • Background in acquisition marketing with a focus on digital growth.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Zephyr or Purchasely is highly desirable.

  • Comfort in using data and analytical results to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Genuine passion for The Sun brand and its digital evolution.
