We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager with a strong background in Overhead Lines (OHL) and/or Substation projects to join our team on an interim basis for an initial 6 to 12month period. This role provides continuity and leadership on major transmission programmes while recruitment for a permanent position is underway.
Key Responsibilities
Provide senior project leadership across major electrical transmission works.
Lead the delivery planning and execution of a new 400kV GIS substation build.
Manage governance cost schedule risk and reporting activities in alignment with internal processes and HV procedures.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams contractors suppliers and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Support mobilisation activities in preparation for construction starting in summer 2026.
Ensure full compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications :
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience working at a Lead Project Manager level within the highvoltage transmission environment.
Strong knowledge of 275kV-400kV systems governance and HV project processes.
Technical background in OHL or substation engineering and construction ideally including GISbased substations.
Excellent leadership communication stakeholdermanagement and coordination abilities.
Comfortable working across both sitebased and officebased environments.
