Devsinc is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our quality assurance this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts for web mobile and API testing
- Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright and other industry-standard tools
- Develop comprehensive API test suites to validate REST/GraphQL endpoints
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
- Perform functional regression integration and performance testing
- Identify document and track defects through resolution
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Analyze test results generate reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Mentor junior QA team members and share knowledge on automation best practices
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
- Proficiency in Playwright for web automation testing
- Strong experience in API automation and testing using tools like Postman REST Assured or Playwrights API testing capabilities
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs JSON/XML and API testing methodologies
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
