Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing and maintaining a professional standard of service to our internal and external customers by responding to inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner. He or she will assist the customers in determining their professional needs when receiving or placing telephone calls.

Essential Functions

  • Provide impeccable customer service and sales support; respond to customer queries answer questions and solve problems in a timely fashion.
  • Identify customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and/or solutions.
  • Upgrades telephone orders.
  • Introduces and promotes new products during calls.
  • Researches and resolves customer problems relating to the merchandise department under guidance of lead customer service representative.
  • Participates in and supports campaigns/promotions sponsored by the Marketing Department Region and/or Branch.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of company products policies and procedures
  • Develop strong working relationships across the business/functions as well as with customers and manufacturing partners.
  • Communicate any pertinent information received from customers to the outside sales representative or appropriate management.
  • The Customer Service Representative may perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or any other relevant experience.
  • Previous customer service experience is required along with excellent verbal/phone communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively tactfully diplomatically and professionally at all times.
  • Mastering the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the dental industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
