You will also consult with suppliers contact approval agencies and clients andparticipatein project planning to meet budget schedule and This Role IfYou like to think creatively and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutionsYou enjoy exercising your entrepreneurial spirit toidentifyopportunities to grow the like to define project needs and develop steps to execute them with the freedom to get the job doneWhat You Will DoInteract with clients throughout project delivery supporting project management byassistingin supervising electrical and multi-discipline projects to meet client deliverables budgeting and timelines; schedule and coordinate production activities and quality assurance reviews andparticipatein planning to achieve prescribed budget schedule and technical analysis prepare corresponding reports develop concept schematic and developed designs for electrical project scope including lighting power and systems instructions; prepare construction cost estimates at various submission stages for client budgeting; complete technical audits of existing facilities and prepare corresponding existing conditions for renovation projects; coordinate electrical and telecom service supply requirements with utility companies; perform site investigations progress reviews andparticipateinConstruction Administration Field Review and project closeout stages during electrical service and distribution systems calculations and equipmentselection including demand loading fault current assessment protective device coordination and ESA review package lighting design (indoor and outdoor) including fixture lamp ballastselection and lighting calculations to IES electrical systems design for building code compliance including life safety (fire alarm emergency/exit lighting) and resource conservation (lighting selection lighting controls mechanical equipment services).Coordinate electrical installation and space needs with other design team problems using a combination of standard procedures modifications of standard procedures or methods developed frompreviousassignments; interpret customer requirements investigatedesignand field engineering difficulties and coordinate work schedules; consult with suppliers independently to secureappropriate proceduresfor approval agencies and clients as directed by senior engineers; prepare progress reports recommend changes in designs estimate costs and recommend payments for completed work; contact associates in other departments to discuss and advise on project requirements;maintainknowledge of related architectural and engineering disciplines referring unusual problems to senior engineers or various tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the engineering teams and a strong commitment to our company values of quality client focus teamwork sustainability and community integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues clients and You Bring To The Table Bachelors degree in engineering applied sciences or related of 5 years of engineering experience preferably in a consulting engineering certification or eligibility to obtain understanding of engineering principles and with engineering software and tools (e.g. Revit CAD software).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and judgment in solving complex issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communicationand interpersonal with related architectural and engineering disciplines. Ability to interpret customer requirements and coordinate work schedules. Proficiencyin preparing progress reports and cost estimates.
