Who Youll Work With

The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

About The Role

The Digital Workplace Architectis responsible fordesigning the end-to-end technology architecture that enables a modern secure and seamless employee experience. This role shapes the strategy standards and roadmap for collaboration communication productivity devices identity automation and digital experience platforms across the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Architecture & Roadmap

  • Develop the digital workplace technology strategy aligned to business and IT goals.
  • Define reference architectures blueprints and patterns for collaboration endpoint management identity and end-user services.
  • Lead platform modernization initiatives (M365 Teams SharePoint Intune DEX AI copilots).

Platform & Integration Design

  • Architect secure and scalable solutions across the workplace stack: productivity suites intranet endpoint mobility identity and communications platforms.
  • Define integration patterns between M365 HRIS ServiceNow identity platforms and business applications.
  • Establish governance lifecycle and configuration standards.


User Experience & Security

  • Ensure seamless and intuitive experiences across devices applications and workflows.
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to embed conditional access security baselines DLP encryption Zero Trust and compliance requirements.


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide architectural leadership to engineering teams product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Review solution designs and ensure alignment to standards.
  • Act as an internal consultant for workplace technologies and emerging trends (AI automation knowledge mining).


Operational Excellence

  • Support service owners with capacity planning reliability patterns and platform optimization.
  • Evaluate new tools and vendors; perform proof-of-concepts and technical assessments.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 10 yearsof experience in IT with at least5 yearsspecializingdigital workplace architectureon an enterprise-levelto create an ecosystem across M365 stack endpoint/mobility identity and access collaboration/messaging DEX and automation disciplines
  • Enterprise architecture experience is highly preferred
  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) intheMicrosoft 365 stack: Teams SharePoint OneDrive Exchange Online Viva Intune Purviewplus familiarity with other collaboration or SaaS platforms
  • Strong understanding of device lifecycle management and endpoint platforms (Intune experience is a plus but notrequired)
  • Solid grounding in identity and access principles across Entra ID and comparable IAM platforms including GPOs
  • Experience integrating workplace platforms using APIs connectors or workflow automation tools
  • KnowledgeinWindows Server and Windows 10/11 operatingsystems
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts related to VDI (latency bandwidth load balancing firewalls and protocols like RDP HDX PCoIP).


Education & Certifications (Preferred)

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable:
  • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • MD-102: Endpoint Administrator
  • MS-700 / Teams Voice (optional but valuable)
  • DEX & ITSM
  • Nexthink LakesideControlUpcertifications (if applicable)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation


BehavioralCompetencies

  • Strong ability to mentor and train junior engineers and document complex architectures for operational handover.
  • Enterprise-level stakeholder managementand collaborative spirit with the ability to lead cross-functional design workshops
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to1) partner with a diverse stakeholder base tounderstand needs and develop technology requirements that deliver on them and 2)articulate complex technical concepts to both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability toevaluate vendors and managedcontracts with an eye to creating platform-based solutions.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $128000 to $145000 at the commencement of employment for the Jersey City NJ area. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors which may include the candidates geographic location skills experience and other qualifications.

In addition the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financials Houston TX and Jersey City NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
