Title - Senior Lead Engineer React Native (Mobile Apps)
Location - Farmingham MA
Role - 12 Months Contract
Onsite - Mon - Fri
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong hands-on experience building production-grade apps using React Native and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of Expo ecosystem (EAS OTA updates build pipelines native configuration).
- Expertise in mobile architecture patterns (Clean Architecture MVVM modular architecture).
- Experience integrating native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) modules into React Native apps.
- Strong understanding of app lifecycle memory management threading and performance tuning.
- Experience implementing push notifications deep linking analytics SDKs and mobile security frameworks.
- Familiarity with authentication flows (OIDC PKCE secure token handling).
- Experience with API integrations (REST GraphQL) and handling network resiliency/offline-first design.
- Strong understanding of mobile DevOps CI/CD and release governance.
- Experience collaborating in Agile environments and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to balance hands-on development with strategic architectural leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of software development experience.
- 6 years of hands-on mobile development experience.
- 4 years leading React Native applications in production environments.
- Proven experience delivering apps to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Experience working with cloud-based backends (Azure AWS or GCP).
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines automated testing and DevOps best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic architectural decisions balancing business and technical needs.
