Our firm is looking to hire a Client Service Associate to support our advisory team create and nurture long-term needs of firm clients and help to manage client relationships by supporting service. Uniquely this role with also actively participate in the advanced planning addition to the technical mastery you will anticipate needs resolve problems and follow through on agreed upon deliverables. You will provide consistent accurate and timely results with research meeting preparation reporting analysis as well as input and management of the financial plan.

You can move through your work efficiently while recognizing that the detailed work in our business is critical. You have enough experience and/or common sense to know that the first answer isnt always the right one and you are incredibly resourceful and thoughtful in all your interactions. This role is ideal for those who wish to develop client advisory skills over a few years under the guidance and mentorship of an experienced advisory team.

You are going to be tech savvy an adopter of change and always willing to help. You are naturally curious love organization and detail work. You are proactive and strive to help clients and your advisors steer clear of landmines.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Support advisory team with preparation of well-polished documentation and presentation materials for meetings
  • Review and organize meeting notes; document topics covered client updates and action items; enter and schedule tasks in the CRM; and complete all follow up items using firm procedures
  • Coordinate the development and ongoing maintenance of financial plans including initial data entry research on planning topics creation of recommendations and continuous plan monitoring and updates
  • Execute requests such as trades wires and journals with precision and within strict deadlines ensuring proper initiation review approval completion and proactive communication with clients
  • Provide operations and service support including opening new accounts processing applications and managing asset transfers
  • Prepare client reports financial forecasts cash flow projections and goal-based projections
  • Research complex client situations set clear expectations and outline the steps needed to resolve inquiries promptly
  • Continuously monitor client data across various platforms for accuracy and continuity
  • Assist with initiatives focused on value-add content delivered to clients
  • Communicate and follow up regularly with clients building strong relationships; respond promptly to service requests troubleshoot issues and provide clear effective solutions
  • Other special projects to support firm-wide process improvement and capabilities

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelors degree required preferably in finance financial planning or a related field
  • 2 years of progressive experience in the wealth management industry supporting one or more financial advisors highly preferred
  • Expected to have the Series 65 license or be able to obtain it within 90 days of employment
  • Familiar with Orion MoneyGuidePro Redtail NetX360 Holistiplan preferred and/or other industry-specific platforms
  • Strong technology skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent verbal written presentation listening and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality with a strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized and adaptable with the ability to multitask and shift between responsibilities throughout the day
  • Can-do attitude enthusiastic and a strong aptitude for learning
  • The ability to effectively prioritize workloads and complete tasks within well-defined guidelines and time constraints is essential
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical given the nature of paperwork processes and work upon which both clients and the advisory team depend
  • This person is an intelligent analytical thinker with the ability to draw on a range of resources to ensure a high-quality outcome across the positions responsibilities
