Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
An associates degree in relevant discipline or relevant technical certification. Candidates with 3 years experience in an engineering lab or technical setting in lieu of degree or certification will be considered.
Ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance.
Motivated self-starter and problem solver
Performs wide variety of assembly/disassembly tasks at the component or subassembly level
Responsible for maintaining/improving housekeeping standard in his/her work area and adhering to established safety rules and practices.
Must have the ability and self-motivation to apply talents independently and with good judgment.
Manual dexterity skills required.
Must have ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Requires an electro/mechanically-oriented individual with experience interpreting drawings standards and specifications as well as procedures and work instructions.
Must possess the ability to use hand and power tools.
Perform repairs on non-deliverable product such as CCAs and sub-assemblies.
Able to read and interpret electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Assemble or repair engineering test fixtures with both electrical and mechanical skills.
Supports the rework or build of test support or systems cables
Use a Digital Voltmeter to measure / verify installed CCA components and perform continuity checks on cabling or follow circuit traces
Proficiency in standard and industry-related software including Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to lift 30lbs on a periodic basis
Work with minimal supervision in a high paced Engineering environment.
Able to multitask and work efficiently to support program milestones
Work overtime as required including off days and weekends
