Join Art Hill Ford as a Service Advisor in Merrillville IN where you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. You will work closely with our service team to ensure an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle issues providing clear service recommendations and managing repair schedules efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and ascertain their vehicle service needs.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and obtain repair estimates.
- Provide customers with clear detailed explanations of service repairs and costs.
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers regarding service status and completion.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions vehicle services and parts orders.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to meet departmental goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service advising or a related customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand basic automotive terminology and service processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with computer systems and software related to service scheduling and invoicing.
