- Multi-Occupations (MOC) Endorsement or be willing to obtain
- Three years of experience in positions related to career services/career coaching student support services job placement coordination academic advising employability skills or human service OR - Required education and experience can be substituted with: Licensed school teaching practitioners with a CTE endorsements (any CTE area) and 3 years of secondary level (grades 7-12) classroom instruction within a CTE area
- Three or more years of related experience in applicable instructional area or other documentation indicating ability to teach concurrent-enrolled internship education courses

Performance Criteria:
- Lead creation and ongoing management of strategic business relationships with internship partners
- Facilitate student-driven learning by playing the role of a career coach and manager
- Deliver dual credit internship programming for the school-to-work internship course
- Provide leadership and direction in the areas of individual assessment educational choices career-planning and development and employment strategies for students
- Establish and maintain approved training agreements and training plans for each internship placement
- Meet weekly with interns to help troubleshoot any issues and continue their professional learning
- Visit internship sites often to check in with needs of business partners and to ensure safety and appropriate learning at the workplace
- Complete quarterly performance reviews with intern and internship coordinator for assessment and to set future growth goals
- Work with high school counseling department and content areas to ensure student placements are based on readiness and transitions are seamless between home high school and the internship program
- Develop and utilize formative and summative authentic assessments including use of standards-based assessment and reporting
- Maintain internship database
- Evaluate program enrollment data annually
- Collaborate with other internship coordinators in the metro area to serve business partners efficiently
- Involve parents and communities in supporting student learning
- Provide ongoing communication and marketing with students families staff and the community
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to develop knowledge of college recruiting strategies internship market trends occupational career and personal growth.
