What You Will Do

Provide structures analytical support for commercial and military programs with responsibility for the durability and structural integrity of gas-turbine compressor components. This includes airfoils rotors & shafts cases and actuation linkage systems. Responsibilities include:
Provide analytical support for preliminary & detailed design through development validation certification manufacturing and operational service.
Cover validation testing (engine and rig) and data-reduction.
Support in-service field investigations.
Use FE and classical methods for strength stress/deflection vibration fatigue life damage tolerance containment kinematic and optimization analyses.
Document and present results to management and internal customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in structural analysis with problem solving skills using FEM for stress/deflection and vibration analyses.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and consistent record of collaboration flexibility innovation and initiative

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
