Job Description

• Plan and schedule productionbased on demand forecasts capacity and material availability.
• Optimise schedulesto minimise changeovers reduce lead times and improve resource utilization.
• Monitor schedule adherence identify risks and adjust plans to mitigate delays and meet delivery targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionallywith procurement operations logistics and quality to align inventory supplier lead times and customer commitments.
• Maintain master datain ERP/MRP systems including BOMs routings and work center capacities.
• Analyse performance(OTD cycle time WIP inventory turns) and drive corrective actions.
• Manage exceptions(shortages machine downtime engineering changes) and communicate clear recovery plans.
• Support S&OP/MPS processes capacity planning and scenario analysis.
• Lead continuous improvementinitiatives in planning accuracy data integrity and standard work.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in production planning scheduling or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP (e.g. SAP Oracle IFS) and Excel.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good understanding of BOMs routings lead times inventory management and S&OP/MPS.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP certification would be beneficial
• Exposure or familiarity with lean/continuous improvement processes
