• 1520 years total IT experience
• 35 years operating as a true ServiceNow Architect (enterprise ownershipnot just development)

Role Overview

Macdillions Global Energy is supporting DFPS in the delivery and modernization of enterprise ServiceNow platforms. We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect to lead architecture design configuration customization and implementation activities in alignment with industry standards and best practices.

This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic architectural leadership ensuring platform integrity security scalability and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture design implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow platform
• Deliver hands-on configuration development customization and integrations
• Act as a senior technical authority and provide quality assurance oversight for all deliverables
• Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions across:
  • ITSM / ITIL
  • ITBM
  • ITOM
  • ITAM
  • SecOps
  • IRM
  • DevOps
  • Change Management
• Lead Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) implementations
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and detailed technical specifications
• Design and implement:
  • Core ServiceNow application modules
  • Integrations with enterprise systems (Azure AD SSO MID Server REST/SOAP email)
  • Secure user-provisioning processes across internal and external systems
  • ServiceNow security architecture
• Provide architectural direction for integration with custom-built COTS and SaaS applications
• Participate in process flow analysis and redesign with Project Managers
• Partner with business stakeholders to optimize workflows using ServiceNow tools
• Ensure cross-module configurations do not negatively impact platform stability
• Demonstrate deep understanding of ServiceNow data models tables and relationships
• Perform advanced custom scripting and configuration
• Collaborate effectively with remote and distributed teams
• Serve as a consultative advisor sharing best practices and architectural guidance

• Hands-on ServiceNow configuration development and integration experience
• Proven SPM / PPM module implementation experience
• Expert knowledge of:

  • Leading ServiceNow implementations
  • Presenting to executive leadership
  • Mentoring and training junior staff

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Enterprise and public-sector ServiceNow project experience
• ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist certification
• Strong technical documentation skills (Design Implementation Configuration Plans)
• Experience implementing core ITSM process areas:
