Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Systems Administrator to manage maintain and support enterprise IT systems in a fully remote environment. The successful candidate will ensure system availability performance security and reliability while supporting users and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.

This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure maintain and monitor servers operating systems and infrastructure components

Manage user accounts permissions and access controls

Monitor system performance availability backups and disaster recovery processes

Apply system updates patches and security controls

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network-related issues

Maintain system documentation configurations and standard operating procedures

Support compliance with security data protection and IT governance standards

Collaborate with cybersecurity networking and application teams to support IT operations

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 36 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role

Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments

Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)

Familiarity with networking concepts security best practices and monitoring tools

Strong problem-solving communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications (CompTIA Server Linux Microsoft AWS or similar)

Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell Bash Python)

Knowledge of containerization CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices
