Position Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to join their innovative technology team in Juno Beach Florida. This 6-month contract role offers the opportunity to design develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models and AI solutions that enhance business operations and drive innovation in the clean energy sector.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Juno Beach FL 33408 (On-site)
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions to address complex business challenges
- Build and optimize data pipelines for model training testing and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers Architects and Business Analysts
- Implement AI/ML integration with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms
- Support model monitoring performance tuning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for models algorithms and workflows
- Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology and code review processes
- Support generative AI initiatives and explore emerging technologies
- Mentor junior team members and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Mathematics or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and implementation
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn)
- Experience with data engineering tools and ETL processes
- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies (SQL Server PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and ML services
- Familiarity with model deployment and MLOps practices
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree or postgraduate certification in Machine Learning or AI
- Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics or AI integration
- Familiarity with NLP computer vision or deep learning applications
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of AI governance and responsible AI principles
- Prior experience in energy or utility sector
