As a Data Engineer Intern you will work alongside a group of intelligent ambitious and dedicated software professionals. Responsibilities:

• Assist in building testing and maintaining data pipelines using Python.

• Work with databases to extract transform and load (ETL) data.

• Support data processing and analytics workflows in Databricks.

• Support AI/ML initiatives by designing efficient data pipelines feature stores and data validation processes.

• Help clean validate and optimize large datasets for reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with data engineers analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs.

• Document data processes workflows and best practices.

• Troubleshoot data quality or pipeline issues under supervision.

Soft Skills Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Technical Qualifications:

• You must be to commence your internship from the 15th June until the 21st August 2026.

• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field ideally in your penultimate year.

• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills.

• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with data structures data modelling and ETL concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative environment.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) is a plus.

• You must have the right to work in the UK through UK citizenship or approved EU Settlement Scheme.
