We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our dynamic team as Shipping Trainee. This is a remarkable opportunity for fresh graduates to kick-start their career in the shipping industry. As a Shipping Trainee with AAL you will receive comprehensive training in various areas empowering you to excel in this exciting field.

Key Responsibilities:

Over the 18-month traineeship the objective is for the trainee to develop a comprehensive understanding of AALs services and clients. Focusing on building comprehensive interdisciplinary knowledge of each departments responsibility including Chartering Operations Finance QHSE and Engineering.

  • Participate in on-the-job training and rotational assignments in different departments.
  • Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Maritime Studies Logistics International trade Shipping related engineering fields etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the shipping industry.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
