Job Summary
Are you a skilled linguist with the ability to bridge communication gaps in real-time We are looking for Remote Consecutive Interpreters fluent in Ukrainian and English to join our team.
This is a 100% remote opportunity but candidates must be physically located in Portugal with full working rights.
The Role: Consecutive Interpretation
In this position you will facilitate professional communication by interpreting speech after the speaker pauses. Your role is essential in ensuring accuracy cultural nuance and clarity in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consecutive Interpretation: Provide accurate real-time interpretation during pauses in professional medical or legal settings.
- Accuracy & Neutrality: Relay messages faithfully without adding omitting or changing the meaning.
- Confidentiality: Adhere to strict ethical standards and data protection protocols.
- Terminological Precision: Handle specialized vocabulary with a high degree of accuracy.
Requirements:
- Language Proficiency: C1/C2 level in both Ukrainian and English.
- Location: Must be based in Portugal.
- Eligibility: EU Citizenship or a valid Portuguese Work Permit is mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional listening memory retention and note-taking skills for consecutive work.
