About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure construction projects based in Ottawa. This role is responsible for managing projects from functional program development through design implementation and close-out while ensuring alignment with approved scope schedule budget and quality standards.
The successful candidate will bring strong infrastructure and construction project delivery experience and a proven ability to manage multiple aspects of projects end-to-end while building and maintaining strong client relationships. Local and/or airport experience are considered assets but not requirements.

  • (Internal Title:Project Management III)
    • Execute and manage all phases of construction and infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with scope schedule and budget
    • Manage assigned projects or project elements from initiation through completion in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager or Project Lead
    • Lead project delivery from functional program development through design implementation and close-out
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules and resource requirements in consultation with stakeholders and clients
    • Assign and manage human and material resources required to successfully deliver projects
    • Formulate and implement resource allocation strategies to distribute work and budgets effectively
    • Authorize work management and maintain control of project delivery in accordance with approved project plans
    • Monitor project staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to timelines and quality standards
    • Ensure compliance with overall project scope schedule budget and quality requirements
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
    • Track monitor and report on project performance milestones budgets quality measures and KPIs implementing corrective actions as required
    • Evaluate project effectiveness through consultation with clients and project teams
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Working Conditions
    • Hybrid work environment (minimum three days per week in the office)
    • Ottawa-based position


Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Project Management
    • Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects from functional program development through design implementation and close-out
    • Construction management experience including oversight of on-site construction activities
    • Airport experience is an asset
    • Local Ottawa-based experience on building projects is an asset.
    • Experience building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to lead mid-sized multidisciplinary project teams
  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering Construction Management Architecture or related discipline)
  • Licenses / Certifications (Assets)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • PMI certifications such as CAPM or Ready
    • Other recognized Project Management certifications
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Strong working knowledge of Project Management software
    • Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
    • Expert knowledge of tools and metrics used to evaluate project performance
    • Strong risk identification mitigation and problem-solving capabilities
    • Excellent supervision delegation and team leadership skills
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
    • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured technology-driven environment
    • Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation based on full-time employment for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
