QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Laboratory Assistant training
- Two years experience in a medical laboratory
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
- Enjoy working with the public.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with electronic medical records (particularly Accuro) is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens on site and prepares specimens for transport
- Perform procedures in urinalysis haematology and biochemistry
- Responsible for the delivery of accurate and reliable test results
REQUIREMENTS:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Child Abuse and Adult Abuse Registry checks
- Ability to work days evenings and weekends
