We are a journey of continuous growth now looking for our next star a passionate Material Handler/Order Picker. This position reports to Materials Planning Supervisor and will work in Stuart FL.
About the position
As a Material Handler/Order Picker in the Stuart team you will be involved in supporting the stockroom receiving and shipping areas. This position picks parts for Job Orders to be sent to Production per the bill of materials. Receives incoming shipments of parts and supports the shipping department.
Your main responsibilities
- Pick parts for Job Orders based on a bill of materials (BOM) with timing and accuracy
- Transport picked items to production areas as needed
- Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure each incoming delivery matches the company Purchase order
- Puts parts away in stockroom and deliver to appropriate areas of plant
- Work independently in carrying out duties with limited supervision
- Perform annual inventory as well as inventory cycle counts and transactions as instructed
- Assists in shipping using UPS FedX and LTL shipment systems
- Drive forklift we will do forklift certification
