Description

The Accountant will support full-cycle accounting operations and workhands-on across core accounting functions. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a smaller collaborative accounting and finance team and is comfortable operating independently. The position is a contract role with a minimum one-year commitment and the potential to convert to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle accounting activities including journal entries account reconciliations and month-end close
Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate financial reporting
Utilize advanced Excel skills daily for analysis reconciliations and reporting
Work within a large ERP system to manage accounting data and transactions
Assist with audits reporting and ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Collaborate closely with finance and accounting team members to support ongoing operations

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required
5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience working with large ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills
Hands-on detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a smaller team environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
Contract availability for a minimum of one year with potential for permanent hire
