Job Summary

Job Purpose and Impact

  • As an Application Developer you will build maintain integrate and implement software applications supporting the Supply Chain Planning functional this role you will be a member of a product team and will discover and deliver solutions for problems to enable the companys digital future. You will apply knowledge of software configuration and integration to ensure solutions are scalable resilient and robust. You will also contribute knowledge and hands-on experience with modern practices and technologies to the Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) community.

    This role is expected to perform with limited supervision and involve moderately complex software application and integration testing quality assurance configuration installation and support to ensure smooth stable and timely implementation of new requirements and enhancements. This role will be focused primarily on integrations with the SAP IBP solution and will be part of a product team dedicated to this overall solution across Cargills enterprises.

Key Accountabilities

  • APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Sets up and maintains SAP IBP application and its integration configurations to meet user and business requirements while developing and recommending improvements to standard and moderately complex application support processes and procedures.
  • APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Performs design analysis configuration testing and deployment of new integrations configurations enhancements and at times fixes for SAP IBP integrations and application as required.
  • USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Keeps an open channel of communication with end users and internal stakeholders and responds to standard and moderately complex application support requests and needs.
  • APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts advanced and complex application support activities in conjunction with support team members to deliver business outcomes.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Works with multi-functional teams including application analysts product managers support team and business partners to ensure integrations and configurations align with standards and project goals.
  • APPLICATION DOCUMENTATION: Ensures configuration and integration processes settings rules filters etc. are documented and continually updated.
  • KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: Maintains and shares relevant technical approaches and modern skills with SAP IBP and its integration options and evolving capabilities.
  • PROBLEM SOLVING: Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Confirmed experience working with SAP IBP knowledge of architecture data model and integration technologies in particular CI-DS.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing/ supporting SAP IBP integrations in complex business environments.
  • Experience with various SAP IBP modules (e.g. Demand Response & Supply Inventory Sales & Operations Planning) is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming language preferably SAP ABAP.
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Multiple experiences developing and deploying SAP IBP integrations utilizing CI-DS technology with SAP ECC SAP S/4 and non-SAP solutions.
    • Experience with SAP IBP RTI and/or SDI integrations or experience with SAP APO CIF technology.
    • SAP IBP and associated integration technologies certifications
    • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
