Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking aM&S Platform Lead DevOps Engineeris responsible forarchitecting implementing and sustaining theDevSecOpsplatform supporting C5ISR Modeling & Simulation applications across cloud and on-premises environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect implement and configure the M&SDevSecOpsplatform to support application user and site requirements.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and core platform services supporting M&S environments.

• Design and maintain highly reliable and highly available platform architectures.

• Support secure software delivery pipelines and compliance withDevSecOpsbest practices.

• Provide engineering support for transition activities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 8 years relevant experience or

• Associates degree and 10 years relevant experience or

• 12 years relevant experience:

• 7 years of relevant development experience using C Python AFSIM web services databases and/or web applications.

• ProficiencywithDevSecOpstools and processes including GitLab SonarQube and Fortify.

• Experience architecting platforms for both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Experience designing systems for high reliability and availability.

• Active Secret Clearance

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Experience supporting DoDDevSecOpspipelines and secure environments.

• Familiarity with M&S platform sustainment and transition engineering.

• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

• Friendly presence helpful attitude good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word Excel and other Office applications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users onfrequentlyasked technical issues.

• Ability to provide technicalassistanceand support over the phone; good phone skills professional demeanor andpreviouscustomer service experience strongly desired.

• Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
