Summary
The Senior Risk & Compliance Specialist leads risk management quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives for a multi-site outpatient radiology organization. This role ensures compliance with HIPAA ACR OSHA and other applicable federal state and local regulations while promoting a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay: $38.36 - $46.66 per hourbased on relevant experience skills and abilities.

Location: This is an onsite position based out of our Admin building in Downtown Tacoma. Some travel to our local outpatient site would be required.
Schedule: 1.0 FTE - 40 hours - Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the incident reporting process ensuring timely documentation investigation escalation and resolution.
- Analyze trends and conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) to identify risks compliance gaps and workflow issues; partner with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory accreditation and quality standards supporting safe high-quality patient care.
- Conduct routine and ad hoc audits related to documentation access privacy and operational workflows.
- Develop maintain and update policies procedures SOPs and training materials.
- Support HIPAA and regulatory investigations in collaboration with HR and leadership.
- Administer compliance software including training assignments licensure tracking and onboarding documentation.
- Deliver new hire and ongoing compliance training.
- Prepare reports dashboards and submissions supporting quality programs and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in and lead internal committees related to safety compliance and regulatory readiness.
- Perform site visits to assess safety OSHA compliance and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare risk management quality or compliance (radiology or outpatient healthcare preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA accreditation standards (ACR) and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to conduct investigations audits and root cause analyses.
- Strong analytical communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
