Position Summary:
The B5 SME supports the PTP EMEA function by providing insights driving process improvements and contributing to operational efficiency across the organization. The role facilitates cross-functional collaboration ensures effective integration of initiatives into daily operations and aligns team efforts with organizational goals. By maintaining strong operational expertise the SME helps translate day-to-day learnings into the GPO process framework and PPI improvement agenda while streamlining execution and preventing silos across Solution Center teams. The position also leverages P2P knowledge to support productivity transformation projects and operational managers in achieving their addition the SME may take on operational responsibilities such as escalation management and where required may lead a small group of team members to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects with a focus on improving and/or stabilizing the impacted
- Support in maintaining stable and effective daily operations by identifying risks and opportunities facilitating communication across Solution & Compliance and Support Center teams and ensuring seamless integration through shared operational insights standardized best practices and contributions to the GPO/PPI frameworks.
- Serve as the integration expert and dedicated project owner for the projects assigned while providing operational support as needed (e.g. escalation management troubleshooting).
- Help with the establishment and operational integration of new scopes processes and organizational structures during transformation projects; work with the GPO Team business and support new managers/leaders to ramp up service.
- Contribute to the development and execution of improvement and compliance initiatives within the department.
- Assist in driving productivity funnel creation maintenance and prioritization ensuring PPI is embedded in daily operations through visuals tools training and an ambassador network in P2P.
- Contribute to the departments Operational Improvement agenda and PPI Journey (short and long-term) establishing a cross-team improvement agenda support and monitor productivity delivery.
- Support the establishment and operational integration of new scopes processes and organizational structures by collaborating with the GPO team and business partners while also contributing to activities such as deep-dive analyses clean-up activities and other essential operational processes.
- Contribute to strengthening the PPI culture within the P2P organization by providing continuous support guidance and leadership to Rapid Responders; act as a PPI ambassador and collaborate closely with the PPI team to drive ongoing improvements
- Provide insights and recommendations supporting decision-making for management through research analysis and constant interaction with the P2P Teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for assigned project-related matters.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure process improvements and harmonization with GBS EMEA processes.
- Contribute to the stabilization of new P2P processes after go-live and support the transition to business-as-usual
- Other tasks as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university Accounting Finance or Business Administration background preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years customer service P2P or Procurement experience is required preferably in a shared services environment.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable / accounting principles practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in AP software and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English is required both written and spoken fluency in German and/or French is highly desirable.

- Strong project management skills including the ability to plan implement coordinate stakeholders and monitor project activities to achieve desired outcomes.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to collect and interpret data to make informed decisions.
