The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering Team.

The qualified candidate will be primarily responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating existing plant layouts.
  • Designing future layout improvements based on Manufacturing requirements.
  • Managing various projects including:
    • Infrastructure system improvements
    • Building demolitions
    • Manufacturing cell relocations
    • Future expansion site planning
    • Installation/relocation of machines
  • Coordinating various contractors performing work on site and communicating project goals and expectations.
  • Coordinating inspections and preventative maintenance of building life-safety systems and other various equipment.
  • Overseeing handling and disposal of chemicals and waste both hazardous and non-hazardous.
    • Assist in EPA audits and internal record keeping ensuring company compliance.
  • Working closely with executive leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Utilization of MS Office tools to present and track project status.
  • Other technical physical and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Mechanical Electrical or Systems Engineering.
  • An in-depth understanding of building infrastructure systems (electrical mechanical and plumbing).
  • Proficient with CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD; experience with Revit Bluebeam Revu and Siemens NX is a plus.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and machine specifications at an advanced level.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel Project and PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Prior construction or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies building code OSHA and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA RCRA DOT and UDEQ).
  • PMP or other project management certification.

U.S. citizenship is required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
