Job Summary
DT Professional Services is seeking an Interpreter (Sign Language)to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme CA.This role provides real-time sign language interpretation between spoken and signed communication to support effective communication at meetings conferences and events.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language and sign language into spoken English in real-time settings.
- Provide accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation for conferences symposiums meetings and formal events.
- Prepare for assignments by reviewing agendas technical terminology and event materials.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards and ethics.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelors degree.
- Three(3) yearsexperience providing translation between spoken and sign language; must have experience translating real time at events such as conferences or symposiums.
The compensation range for this position: $60209.07 - $77242.88
