The Position
In this role you will collaborate with business stakeholders project teams and vendors to ensure process control systems for new and existing equipment meet local and global standards. You will work with equipment suppliers and Schneider to specify field instrument assemblies and sensors ensuring devices can connect to and be used in local manufacturing while meeting requirements from both people and equipment perspectives and acting as a gatekeeper for standards. Partnering with other departments such as QC and Warehouse you will gather requirements (for example sensor temperature ranges) to guide equipment selection. You will execute qualification activities for FMS/BMS systems in GMP areas participate in protocol development and execute qualification protocols as required and support periodic system evaluations change requests and deviation handling that are critical to maintaining our license to operate. As an expert on FMS/BMS software interfaces you will configure alarms and reports and provide training and guidance to others. You will be responsible for one or more HVAC and FMS/BMS equipment items working closely with maintenance and production to plan coordinate and release facility activities and leveraging your HVAC knowledge to support implementation of best-in-class engineering solutions. The role requires an advanced understanding of GMP GDP and GxP and is supported by an experienced collaborative department that values teamwork and social engagement.
