Job Description Summary

The Installation Technician is responsible for installing and configuring new and existing dental equipment and cabinetry into dental offices.

Job Description

Installs dental equipment by

  • Loading equipment into our trucks for delivery
  • Unloading equipment from our trucks and removal of empty boxes from the job site
  • Moving all equipment into the dental office in a safe manner
  • Installing equipment as specified by the manufacturer and the site team leader and client
  • Formulating recommendations propose improvements and solutions to problems arising during installation

Ensure the quality of the customer experience by

  • Following through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues
  • Listening to customers concerns and issues. If required address the customer complaint by following the proper chain of command
  • Providing on-time completion of installations
  • Ensuring no damage is caused in the dental office or to the equipment during installation
  • Ensuring the equipment is installed correctly as per manufacturer specs and as per Sinclairs plans
  • Ensure a safe work environment by understanding and following safety procedures and reporting injuries or unsafe acts to our health and safety manager

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENT

  • Expertise in electrical hydraulic pneumatic or mechanic will be considered as an asset.
  • 1 year experience in customer service
  • Comfortable to use hand and portable power tools to shape materials for project requirements

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Work is mainly performed at customer sites. Must hold a valid Canadian drivers license and a good driving record. Flexibility to accept periodic overnight travel and evening/weekend work. This position requires lifting and carrying of heavy equipment.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$53800.00 - $80600.00 Annual
