The role involves teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging classroom-based and practical lessons lead or support ensembles and performances and contribute to the wider cultural life of the school through concerts productions and extracurricular activities.
QTS and a degree in Music or a related discipline
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Ability to teach both practical and theory-based lessons
Strong classroom management and a passion for performance
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular music activities
