The Role
You will teach English across Key Stages 3 to 5 including GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Language. Teaching here allows for depth rather than pace with time to explore texts fully and encourage discussion debate and independent interpretation.
The role will involve:
Teaching well-motivated pupils in small classes
Delivering Literature and Language courses at GCSE and A-Level
Encouraging critical thinking extended writing and confident discussion
Contributing to curriculum development and text selection
Supporting enrichment such as reading societies theatre visits or academic lectures
