Sales Operations acts as a cross-functional operational and analytical hub responsible for supporting retaining and scaling merchants across all key stages of the merchant lifecycle.
The function is accountable for data-driven decision-making bridging Sales FinOps Risk/Compliance Tech and Business Development. The goal is to replace intuition with structured insights and enable sustainable merchant growth.
This role owns merchant context payment performance visibility and operational excellence laying the foundation for upsell retention and volume scaling.
Analytics & Merchant Profiling
Pre-qualification of merchants: market geo traffic and payment method research
Assessment of deal feasibility and growth potential in collaboration with Sales
Merchant Operations
Operational support of merchants post-onboarding
Monitoring performance metrics: volumes approval rates conversion errors routing efficiency
Ownership of merchant payment context and operational reality
Optimization & Scaling
Initiation of performance improvements: provider tuning routing optimization cascading logic
Reduction of operational and technical growth barriers
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaboration with FinOps Risk/Compliance and Tech teams on merchant-related decisions
Preparation of structured reports insights and action plans for Sales and management
Professional Experience
1 year experience in fintech / PSP preferably in high-risk segments
(iGaming Gambling Betting Forex Crypto)
Background in Sales Operations Account Management Business Analytics or Sales
Analytical & Technical Skills
Strong analytical mindset; confident with Excel Power BI or similar tools
Understanding of payment methods and flows: cards APMs mobile money local/regional solutions
Experience using AI tools (GPT Perplexity Gemini) in analytical or operational workflows
Basic market and SEO research skills (Similarweb Ahrefs etc.)
Business & Communication Skills
Strong negotiation and business communication skills
Spoken and written English (B2)
Ukrainian language - a significant advantage
