Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours is currently looking for talented fluent English speakers for a two month Event and Marketing Coordinator Internship. This internship will give the chance to manage events experiences as well as animation marketing public relations sales and developing their French language skills.
Applicants for this Tour Guide Internship must be willing to work for Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours for two months.
Tasks
Business Development & Hostel Partnerships
- Partner Acquisition: Identify and reach out to new hostel partners guesthouses and local tourism hubs to expand our network.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for existing hostel partners. Conduct regular check-ins to ensure our promotional materials (flyers posters) are well-placed and staff are informed.
- In-Person Pitching: Visit hostels to pitch our Day & Night experiences to reception teams and managers ensuring they understand the value for their guests.
- Strategic Incentives: Help develop and manage referral or commission programs for hostel staff to drive bookings.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor which partners are driving the most traffic and suggest strategic adjustments to increase conversion from underperforming locations.
Day Events & Experiences
- Event Planning: Assist in the development of event concepts themes and objectives. Research and identify suitable venues and vendors. Help create event budgets and monitor expenses.
- Logistics & Coordination: Support event setup including coordinating with vendors catering and AV teams. Manage registration attendee lists and badges. Coordinate transportation and accommodation when necessary.
- Marketing & Digital Presence: Promote events via social media email marketing and online ads. Curate engaging content schedule posts and monitor reach/engagement metrics.
- Promotion & Street Marketing: Execute creative marketing strategies. Distribute promotional materials in high-traffic areas. Engage with potential attendees to answer questions and drive ticket sales.
Night Events & Experiences (Inc. Bar Crawls)
- Reservations Management: Handle check-ins track RSVPs and manage guest lists. Communicate directly with attendees to confirm status and provide event details.
- Customer Service & Guest Entertainment: Provide top-tier service by addressing concerns on-site. Act as the life of the party by organizing ice-breaking games and ensuring a lively inclusive atmosphere.
- Reviews & Social Proof: Proactively encourage guests to provide written reviews or video testimonials to boost our online reputation.
- Safety & Crowd Control: Prioritize attendee well-being by following strict safety protocols and managing group movement between venues.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate post-event reports on attendance payments and financial totals for the management and finance teams.
- Field Experience: Lead or support up to 3 Bar Crawl Tours per week managing large groups through nightlife itineraries.
Requirements
Fluent in English language (fluency in other languages will be a plus)
Reliable and responsible punctuality is a priority
Adaptability and Flexibility (although you will have a standard working schedule it will sometimes be necessary to adjust this in order to accommodate clients
Team Player: encourage open communication and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
