Tasks
As a working student you will support our development team in backend development using Rust and TypeScript. You will work on exciting features and help make our software solutions robust high-performance and future-proof. A special focus will be on communication protocols such as Modbus and Web APIs.
- Development and maintenance of backend components in Rust and Typescript
- Implementation and integration of communication interfaces like Modbus and web APIs
- Contribution to new feature development and optimization of existing systems
- Collaboration with a dedicated interdisciplinary team
- Insight into innovative technologies and sustainable energy solutions
- Flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely
Requirements
- Enrollment in computer science software engineering or a related field
- Some experience with Rust or a comparable programming language (e.g. C Go Java)
- Some experience with TypeScript
- Interest in backend architectures communication protocols (Modbus) and web APIs
- Basic understanding of electricity generation and distribution is a plus
- Independent and structured working style
- Good German and English skills
