Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join our design team. This role is focused purely on the design specification and coordination of mechanical building services systems for a range of projects from concept through to construction issue.
You will work closely with architects electrical engineers and clients to deliver efficient compliant and sustainable HVAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical and HVAC system design for building services projects
- Design and specification of systems including:
- Heating cooling and ventilation systems
- Air handling units FCUs heat pumps boilers and chillers
- Producing calculations (heat loss/gain ventilation rates pipe sizing duct sizing)
- Preparing design reports specifications and schedules
- Producing and reviewing drawings using CAD and/or Revit
- Coordinating designs with other disciplines and attending design meetings
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations ( AS1668 etc)
- Supporting projects through technical design stages and responding to design queries
Excellent command of the english language is essential!
