Job Summary
The Signage Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality visual designs and technical drawings for a wide range of signage projects. This role combines creativity with strong technical understanding of fabrication materials and installation requirements. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and able to translate client requirements into accurate production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop detailed signage layouts shop drawings and technical specifications including dimensions materials mounting methods and illumination details.
2. Create visual concepts and mockups for indoor and outdoor signage way finding systems storefront branding vehicle wraps banners and digital displays.
3. Prepare accurate production-ready files for CNC routing laser cutting vinyl plotting digital printing and large-format fabrication processes.
4. Collaborate closely with project managers engineers sales teams and fabrication units to ensure designs are feasible cost-effective and aligned with project scope and client expectations.
5. Analyze site photos measurements and branding guidelines to ensure correct scaling placement and compliance with local building codes safety standards and brand identity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or degree in Industrial Design Architect or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD tools CorelDRAW Adobe Illustrator Photoshop
Knowledge of signage materials such as acrylic aluminum vinyl LED modules flex and stainless steel.
Understanding of fabrication processes including CNC laser cutting 3D letters backlit signage and flex-face systems.
Strong attention to detail layout accuracy and ability to read/prepare technical drawings.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
13 years of experience in signage and CAD design
