Tele Caller Travel Agency
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Tele Caller to join our travel agency team. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls managing travel enquiries following up on leads and supporting the sales team in converting enquiries into bookings for domestic and international travel packages.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Handling & Calling
- Handle incoming travel enquiries via phone WhatsApp and online leads
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers for follow-ups and promotions
- Understand customer travel requirements and share suitable package details
- Ensure quick first response and regular follow-ups on all assigned leads
Lead Management & Coordination
- Update lead details accurately in CRM / lead register
- Tag leads as Hot / Warm / Cold and share updates with the sales team
- Coordinate with sales executives for quotations and closures
- Avoid lead leakage by maintaining proper follow-up records
Sales Support
- Promote domestic and international tour packages group tours and offers
- Convince customers and support conversions through effective communication
- Achieve daily and monthly call and lead conversion targets
- Upsell or cross-sell add-ons such as hotels visas insurance and activities
Customer Communication & Quality
- Provide correct and transparent information about itineraries and pricing
- Maintain professional and polite communication at all times
- Handle customer queries objections and basic complaints effectively
- Ensure a positive customer experience from first call to handover
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain daily call logs and follow-up status
- Share daily activity and lead status reports with Team Leader
- Follow company calling scripts SOPs and data confidentiality policies
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience as a Tele Caller / Travel Sales Executive preferred
- Basic knowledge of travel packages destinations and travel processes
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil & English (additional languages a plus)
- Ability to convince and build rapport with customers
- Target-driven mindset with strong follow-up skills
- Basic computer knowledge (CRM Excel WhatsApp email)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in travel agency tour operator or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of domestic and international destinations
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
