Senior IT Project Manager Global Applications
Drive high-impact IT projects in the insurance industry with a senior-level role focused on Agile delivery global collaboration and change leadership. Work on strategic initiatives across compliance legal and audit functions. Hybrid setup in Toronto with dynamic cross-regional teamwork.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $67-74 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $80-88 per hour.
12-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
In-office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday.
Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project execution including road mapping budgeting planning and delivery of non-critical applications.
Drive communication and change management to support adoption of new tools and processes.
Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders across North America and Asia.
Oversee all tower leads associated with Group Function Technology (GFT) applications.
Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams.
Manage risks solve problems and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Support rollout of product features and track user adoption.
Use Agile methodology and tools (e.g. JIRA) to manage and report project progress.
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering Business or related field is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
Proven experience leading IT projects in an enterprise environment.
Expertise in Agile methodologies.
Optional certifications such as CSM PSM SSM PMI-ACP or CSP are considered assets.
10 years of experience managing complex global IT projects.
Strong knowledge of Agile JIRA and their application in project management.
Understanding of data privacy data quality and related technical considerations.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to manage change and influence cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Collaborative mindset open to feedback and strong interpersonal skills.
